I Found a Home
I moved into my new apartment yesterday with the help of my father. It was a rather hot day and carrying boxes of my things caused quite a bit of sweat. It did rain but only a little bit. I had been scared that it would going to pour and we would have to hurry up and take all of my things into the new apartment. The last thing I wanted was to have my computer damaged by the rain.
The new apartment is really awesome. There is so much space that I don't know what to do with it. It's such a change from our last apartment because the last one we had was really small. Well not REALLY small but it didn't really give the five of us the space that we needed away from each other. Now that each of us have our own rooms we can study, read, listen to our own music, and basically be by ourselves if we really want to be. This is a good thing for me because I do like to have my by myself time. I most likely will not be as distracted since my desk isn't out in the open anymore like it was last year.
Currtently I am at Paul's house because I didn't feel like unpacking any of my things and because there is no food at the apartment for me to eat. So I might as well be at Paul's where I can eat some good food and have a bed to sleep in that isn't covered with boxes. However, this weekend I am really going to tackle the whole unpacking thing. Paul will be gone for the weekend and part of the week so that means that I will have to find something to do with my time.
Tonight I'm going to a Spikes game. Paul, Grego, Grego's parents, Paul's parents, Christian, Christian's girlfriend, John, and I are going. It's a 7:05 game so we probably won't get back until a little later. I don't really mind that though because I really don't mind watching the game. My only hope is that it doesn't rain tonight. I would hate sitting in the rain watching baseball. No sporting event is fun to watch in the rain.
Oh yeah, I'm going to the YMCA today to fill out paper work for work.
