Fanta-Stick
I was lucky enough to be about to attend four different musicals while my stay in Korea~
The first one I attended was Fanta-Stick~~
The whole story line is based off a man and woman in the beginning who loved each other.
They were given a heavenly drum and a flute by God.
The woman became upset because the man got obsessed with the drum. So she tore off the drum.
This didn't please God, so he hid her flute and made her family become ghosts.
Throughout the musical, she tries to find the flute once again. Time goes by and people start to change to a more modern era.
In order for her to become human again she has to play Fanta-Stick music that has to be approved by God.
In her searches, she encounters the reborned version of her lover and many things play out in this musical because of this.
There are many funny scenarios that keeps the audience laughing. There are also many action scenes that keeps the audience at the edge of their seats.
Most of the casts play traditional Korean instuments to tell their part of their story. It makes the musical become more alive!
I would strongly recommend anyone to go watch this! (there is even a little eye candy for women~~)
