(no subject)
seems to me like summer is just flying by so fast this year. looking back on years in the past, especially the last two or three they seem so eventful. this summer feels different. number one, i haven't quit my job yet haha. last two jobs i had i only worked april til august. but considering i started working at dunkin donuts at the end of january and so far, things are still fine i'd say i'm on a roll. not to mention - this is the first SUMMER i've had a steady boyfriend. that i can really remember anyways. last summer was all about the flings. some longer than others, some more meaningful. i'll say one thing, i wouldn't give this one up for the world.
i can't even explain how much our relationship means to me. to say the least, things are awesome between brandon and i. they were right when we got back together... and it just seems to KEEP getting better. i've never had the feeling that someone adored me so strongly than when i look into his eyes. it's when i come to the realization that our hearts and breath beat indifferent just before my eyes shut and we fall asleep entangled in eachother, when each hug is as one your best friend came walking through the door after 5 years, and countless other everyday, simple occurences... that make me feel secure and truly loved. it's wonderful, it really is. especially that we don't have to stress those points to eachother cause we already know the other person is feeling the exact same way. but if we ever were to do so, boy we'd never stop talking :-p
so in the meantime - aside from "us"... stuff that's new... well! he and shane got an apartment right around the corner from my job - so i drive there afterwork basically every day. i think that there's only been one night i came and slept at home (after stopping by for a quick cuddle) haha. i'm such a dork. but the place has really come together and it's cute. ya gotta see porn on that big screen! it's fucking intense. pun definitely intended. but the dude supposedly not knowing what was going on when the two teenage chics were about to give him a blowjob ... had the WORST dance moves so i turned it off. dude, this guy needs some lessons from the pro. but anyways, yeah, the apartment rules. i picked out all of the bathroom stuff. of course Eddie is there (brandons snake) and we have a tortoise! we just let it roam around like a cat hahaha.. it's not huge or anything, but the livingroom is huge so he just walks around the house. he's not like, a turtle with a water tank kinda thing.. which we almost bought. but he's a land tortoise so he just kinda chills/roams/hides in his shelle/eats lettuce. oh, and his name is Romeo :)
i'm trying to think if there's anything else exciting that's been goin on. i'm hardly home anymore. that's different i suppose. i've also been seeing a lot of old friends around. and shane's girlfriend katie and i have gotten close. she's cute. speaking of cute. last tuesday, both brandon and i's day off from work i planned out a little surprise date for the two of us. first, i let him sleep in and then came to pick him up. i had set up a picnic basket full of elegantly laid out sandwiches, strawberries and chocolate sauce. whipped cream. raspberry lemon chiffon cakes from merlings bakery, tomato basil veggie chips, juice, and all sorts of fun stuff. we sat secluded in a grassy area surrounded by bushes and flowers by the old train tracks. it was so sunny, the perfect day! then i drove us to look park where we walked around together - rode the peddle boats, and spontaneously laid in a huge empty field just soaking up the sun. we made our way home and silently read side by side cuddled up. i fell asleep only to awake to an empty spot next to me. and i walk into the kitchen and he was making me dinner! how cute :-p not to mention, it was one of my favorite foods and he didn't even know it.
so, sorry to everyones friends pages i'm soaking up with this long annoying post. i always doubt anyone reads my entries anyhow. so i think i'll give it up for the evening. just like last time, i'm sure i'll write again in another oh you know ..... month or so maybe? perhaps sooner if i get the chance.
