I love Devoe. Did you use a broker? How did you find? I'm looking in the area as well and could totally use help.

miraculously, we found it without a broker! - it was a by owner apartment on craigslist.

basically, we got really, realllly lucky.

when/what are you looking for? i would recommend just checking craigslist constantly, going to lots of open houses, etc. we saw a lot of shitholes before we found this place!

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing. I've done it before. I just hate the process. You forget how bad it is when you're living comfortably for three years.

yeah...it truly sucks. the prices are going up so quickly too, i can hardly believe that 5 years ago amy, anna and i found a 3 bedroom in greenpoint for $1500...now people are asking that much for tiny studios!
