i am not going to pop montreal because i couldn't take any time off work next week, and the whole point of it was to go to maine after because maine is 4 hours from montreal, and staying in maine a few days too, and making a fun roadtrip of it. other than that, there just aren't that many things i want to see, especially on friday and saturday.
it is mostly just a big industry wankfest like cmj anyways. DON'T get me started.
but there is a silver lining which is that hank collective, excuse me, hank AND THE hank collective, are playing on sunday! and it was funny because steve was like "they are playing somewhere called SIN-E?" and i'm like ohhhh no, a whole new bunch of people who are desensitized to how stupid that name is. oh how full of shame for the lower east side was i to have to tell him that it is actually pronounced "SHIN-AYYYyyyy" and has a big glowy sign behind the stage that says...sin-E. horrified all over again! it's a new and refreshing feeling! much like canada itself!
