I know I don't come here often anymore, but I really need to ask for a favor. The mother of one of my best friends is suffering from Bone Cancer, her insurance is pretty much done and needs help. The GoFundMe page description is in Spanish, but I've translated it, you can read it below.

"Laura Del Valle Santiago, is a Bone Cancer patient since 2011, she has gone through several surgeries and many rounds of chemotherapy. Her cancer is currently metastasized, she is bedridden and her health insurance will not pay for any more treatments. Medical expenses for this disease are expensive and it is for this reason that we ask your help. Any type of donation will be greatly appreciated. Laura has been a public employee for more than 25 years of service to the National Parks Company in Puerto Rico. She has been a pillar of the Puerto Rican Tourism industry, working with tourists who visit our island and the facilities of the Rio Camuy Cave Park, at public beaches, and most recently Laura was awarded the Blue Flag of the resort area of Punta Salinas in Toa Alta. Laura is a mother, a grandmother, a resident of Hatillo, Puerto Rico and a living example of being a warrior against adversity.
With each donation, you will help Laura to have a better quality of life and help with her ever increasing medical expenses. Help us to be able to continue the fight against this terrible disease!"
