We made it to 2024
God said we couldn't

well
some Aztec god
so
maybe that's why we could overcome
such
divine opprobrium

here's to a new year

it was good
to get together
with the family

first Amber's
and then
mine

we got out
to a couple films

I really enjoyed
Poor Things
and
To Live and Die in LA

now
we are soon
to be
back at work
and
my heartbreaks
for
all the good times
I must now wait for again

so it goes

I was able to read
48 books
this year

well read 47 books
and listen to one
audio book

I am proud of myself

but
I must work harder
this year

here is to all those
incredible hopes

may they all
come true
