I did things

Today was my first day 'officially' back on Tramadol. I'd been taking it intermittently instead of the pain meds they were prescribing and they prescribed it to me again Monday as part of my weaning process. I can at least say I'm actually doing better than I was, save for my legs and hips.

Anyway, I am allowed to drive now (back and hip willing) and I DROVE MYSELF for the first time in months. I got my nails filled, got my hair cut and got groceries. I'M AN ADULT, MANG.

The girl at the salon put my hair in a french braid for fun I took out the bottom part cause I couldn't stand it going down my back. I think I lost a few inches, which is what I needed. I'm thinking about going purple next. I wish my natural hair color wasn't such a fail at life. Its like a gross looking ash brown. Its the worst possible color. I know I need to do a bleach bath so I guess now is the time.

I still have a billion projects waiting for me, but first up on my art list is my mural and I want to do a few of the acrylic pieces in 11x14 or 16x20 to sell in ready made frames to fund my mini frame shop and the rest of my art stuff. Brandon has agreed to help with some things, and I'm trying to decide between an actual frame chopper and a saw. I'm gonna ask some of my frame shop friends what they think. I'm leaning toward a chopper for now, as its a lot easier to clean up and does not require power, and my right leg could use the exercise since my left is used for the clutch.

Started Keto again this week and I'm already feeling a shit ton better. Next up is physical therapy. I've also been walking more. I had noticed my appetite was just increasing and increasing. I hadn't been on my synthroid for a while and now I'm back on it so hopefully my metabolism goes back up.

Me attempting to work

Scotty just sat his legs on me like that...

The last two were taken before my surgery but I figured I'd add them to show how ridiculous this gets. Once Gimmick feels she's had enough attention, she sits next to my mouse and just kinda hangs out. I call her my little gargoyle. In all of Woodrow's other photos I'm holding him still because he won't get anywhere near calm if he's on me so to get an image I have to kinda scoop him up.

I'm sure that I have a lot more to say but I just wanted to make a little update. Tonight I'm making Kalbi marinated beef (ground) tacos with lettuce shells. Its yummy.
