I love the Fall!
Last night Steve took me out to dinner at the new Dragon King downtown, I had a couple of dicey food experiences but on the whole it was great. As a customer I would have appreciated lables. They have a curious selection of Sushi, Dim Sum and also Authentic and Canadian Chinese foods. Dessert was dismal...sigh. Store bought crap and icecream.
No, I lie, there was one good thing, the mango jelly (made with agar-agar so good for vegetarians) was yummmy!(I don't like cow-feet jello - I can taste feet in it)
The rest of the evening was spent watching a movie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, god it was a good movie, I had forgotten the "Elrond" was the head queen, hahahaha!
Then we went out to breakfast this morning at Cora's, my favourite date is breakfast out.
I had french toast made with raisin bread, I'm such a kid, and Steve had a grown up omelette.
Then we took a nice walk in the crisp fall sunshine and just enjoyed being together. We get so little time for that these days.
Steve went to work for noon and I picked up a few supplies at the Stoopidstore then came home and plowed through a few chapters of my university course. Now I am going to make a nice homemade stew and see if I can get the oven working, I occurs to me that I may just need to change a fuse, if I can find where the frigging fuses are...unless the element is gone, which is a very likely possibility considering the age of said oven.
sigh, I need an electrician, again, I hate to bug my cousin because he won't take my money.
The only time we see each other is when I need help and he works all the time, so I hate to say hey cuz how you been come over on your only day off this month and fix my stuff.
ya know?
Any way that's how my day has been, I think I will get Steve to show my how to put one of those progress meters on my journal so I can keep track of my course advancement.
