Boo Ya!
I’ve been a slacker - where does the time go? This is just a very quick update because I have been so bad at keeping in touch with everyone.
Greg is doing ok. The funeral was lovely, beautiful speeches and wonderful and funny tributes. Greg spoke and did very well. I had to leave the wake, which is a whole other horrible story. Greg’s ex-wife decided this would be the appropriate time to make a political statement so I had to leave to avoid a horrible scene in front of the whole family. It was disgraceful.
I almost made it to Hawaii, but Bill told me about it way too late and work decided it was too rushed and there were a couple of meetings I could not get out of. That was sad.
In exciting news, Greg and I going to Port Douglas on Tuesday. On Monday I go back to hospital to get the “all clear”, at least I certainly hope that’s what I’m getting, and Tuesday we fly out to the Great Barrier Reef. I am completely freaking out about the flying part. But we’re flying Qantas. And we’re staying at a 5 star resort and spa. So there is the dangling carrot of massages, being wrapped in mud, horse riding on the beach and drinking fruity things with umbrellas in them.
