Still here
So, I had decided to do away with this journal...but then I changed my mind. I'm going to give it another shot. Because everyone whose journal I want to read, is also on here.
We've had a rough and dramatic start to 2007. Even though it's almost August. In summary, I was ill and had surgery in April, someone poisoned my horse and he almost died, lots of family drama which I don't want to get into, and the tenants in my house haven't paid rent in like 2 months. Nice.
Anyway where are we now? Well I have supervised the building of a new rec hall and bathroom renovations at camp, learned more about septic systems and bureaucracy than I ever cared to know, fallen in love with a rodeo cowboy that my husband introduced me to (Greg knows - it's all about the horse), and have rehabilitated Indiana - again, after his horrible illness, oh and we are selling the house, that the tenants are currently squatting in.
I'm taking two days off starting tomorrow, because I am absolutely emotionally drained. I just need a break. My plan is to read, sleep and ride - of course it will rain for the first time in four and half years tomorrow. Trish - if you're out there, I could use some suggestions for books that I would like to read. Yours were always perfect for me.
