I forgot to mention.... I did this clinic with a whole bunch of other riding instructors. They had to do first aid scenarios about when things go wrong on trail. They were beside themselves trying to figure out a plan. So I said to them "what would you normally do if someone fell off?". They all just looked at me, and said "No one has ever fallen off". I started telling them some Michigania trail ride stories and it completely freaked them out. I had the best stories....by far! That kind of experience is just priceless. You just can't make this stuff up.
