This is a fair question. Basically what happened is that she was already hired by Michigania through "a friend of a friend" who worked at Michigania last year. So she has to apply through Camp America to get a visa. Because I worked at Michigania, Camp America send her to me to be interviewed. I actually wrote what I thought was a fairly honest repport. I said that she was late and then they emailed me and told me I'm not allowed to say anything anything negative. I indicated in my report that she had been hired for the wrong area, and she didn't seem to have any idea about the responsibility of the area she was hired for. I also suggested an area that she could be more appropriate for. Basically I was told that it's not really up to me to reccommend her, as she was already hired. So my opinion is not worth crap really.

On the other hand, I interviewed this girl who was so fabulous. She has done rodeo, camp drafting, dressage, jumping, anything you can imagine on a horse. She was sweet and fun and knew her stuff. Anyway - I recommended her to Michigania, saying she would be snapped up really quickly and the reply I got was "no thanks". As it turns out, this girl is now going to this amazing equestrian facility in Connecticut - sounds like a dream come true, and Michigania emailed me weeks after asking if she was still available. What can you do?
