Wikia KyokoCharacter Background:
Kyoko is the younger sister of Sasagawa Ryohei. Both brother and sister are very protective of each other. When they were a few years younger, Kyoko was used to lure Ryohei out into a fight that resulted in the scar across his left eyebrow. Since then, Kyoko has been afraid for her brother's safety and asked him to promise her he wouldn't fight anymore. Rather than uphold this promise, Ryohei has become adept at telling her outlandish lies to cover up his physical altercations. Sadly, Kyoko believes these lies regardless of how improbable or ridiculous. This may be because she knows her brother's extreme personality and love of boxing will ultimately land him in fights and it is better to remain unaware of how bad things are. Or it may be that Kyoko is simply a little air-headed. A few examples of this is in her belief that the Ring Tournament was actually a Sumo Tournament in which Tsuna won and that Ryohei was being hospitalized for a few sprains after climbing and falling from the bathhouse chimney during the Kokuyo Arc when really he'd been attacked by Ken and broke 6 bones, cracked 7 more and lost five teeth.
Kyoko is Sawada Tsunayoshi's love interest throughout the manga and anime; a rival to Haru though the two are friends. They enjoy cake together and often shop, cook or babysit I-pin and Lambo as a team. Haru and Kyoko first became friends over their shared love of cake. Though Haru knows about Tsuna's role in the mafia, Kyoko is kept unawares throughout the present. When she participates in mafia events, much like Yamamoto, she assumes they are games. Her ignorance to the mafia is insisted upon by Ryohei and generally desired by Tsuna as well. Kyoko is in the same class as Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto.
Kyoko ended up in the future around the same time as Yamamoto, Haru, I-pin and Lambo. She was immediately saved by Tsuna in a warehouse brawl in which she witnessed his dying will mode. She and Haru took on the cooking and cleaning aspects of life while the others trained to defeat the Millefiore. Eventually, before the Choice battle, Tsuna told her about the mafia. She took it very well, happy to finally be told the truth of what was going on and of the danger everyone faced.
At his point it is hinted/pretty much outright stated that Kyoko feels the same for Tsuna as he does for her, evidenced by her future self having called him Tsu-kun. Additionally it is revealed that older Kyoko had been doing some knitting which seems to point to a possible pregnancy in the TYL world and is accompanied by Tsuna's narration stating "It seems that Kyoko's feelings were the same as mine".
As part of the Vongola entourage, she witnessed the Choice battle and has been running around with them since then in an attempt to avoid Byakuran and his men, adding the sky arcobaleno Uni to their girl group. During the final fight, however, the girls were left in safety in the woods while most of the boys fought, no longer witnessing the danger and instead staying back with Tsuna to wait. Kyoko comes from this period when Tsuna finally leaves them to fight Byakuran himself.
Abilities/Special Powers:
Kyoko can cook and clean well but is a normal human girl.
Third-Person Sample:
Kyoko cut the onions without tears. The trick she'd found was that if she kept her mouth closed and worked quickly she could get one--maybe even one and a half--onions cut before the fumes made tears rise in her eyes. Ryohei had once said he would never forgive the onions for making his sister cry. His attempts to slice them in her stead had required stitches. So she tried hard to keep a smiling face just in case the onions were too strong and left her weepy eyed and sniffling at the counter.
The carrots were already cooking. Once she'd made the mistake of cooking all the vegetables at once and the curry had had cooked potatoes, limp onions and crunchy carrots. She knew better now: carrots needed to be first. It was very important that everything be tasty. Everyone was working so hard. Tsuna-tachi needed a good meal after training all day and they needed clean bedding for when they slept and clean clothes for when they woke up. Haru was taking care of the sheets and laundry now that the potatoes were cut and waiting their turn in the pot. It was just the onions now and then they'd hurry up and fold while the meat and veggies boiled away in the sauce. Then they would put the laundry away and set the table, eat together like one large family, then she'd hurry off to bed so she could wake up early with Haru to make them all a big breakfast.
Kyoko put the knife down and wiped her brow with the back of her hand. It was exhausting to think about, really. Even with Haru there to work beside her, four boys ate a lot of food and training made lots of rips and tears to mend in dirty shirts and pants that piled up so quickly. And I-pin and Lambo needed looking after as well. It wouldn't be fair to complain or let on, though. Everyone was working hard, not just her and Haru. Alone in the kitchen, however, she let her smile falter just a little in memory of a time when making sure the onions did not make her cry was the height of her concerns.

This place is very much like the place I left. I like it much better but I wish I could be home instead. But if this is where my brother and Tsuna-kun and his friends are then this is where I want to be, too. Though I just know I'm going to get fat here! There's a dining room that gives you any kind of cake you want for free! And it's delicious! I'm going to have to be extra careful and try not to try all the cake I can! Although I think it would be wonderful to get to try all kinds of different cakes! Um... Can someone tell me if there is a gym here?
