camp invention!!!
whoa! today was so amazing, tiring, and wonderful all at the same time.
i woke up an hour late, and barely got ready on time, but we made it with time to spare. the first hour was madness. we had to sign in a bunch of kids, get their parnets signature, and sort out all the things they brought in. we had some adolrable kids. they're in 2nd and 3rd grade. some of them, though, want attention really badly.
after lunch was fun. we played four corners, and i got to be the caller. when there were ten kids left, they were dubbed the winners, and they got to sqirt we counselors with water.
it was hilarious. each of us counselors would get 2 ten minute breaks through out the day, and there were always one or two others with the same break time as you. we would go and sit in the staff room and talk about or "problem" children. like some kid's ADD meds would ware off by the time lunch was over, and you couldn't get them to focus the rest of the day. or one would cry all the time, and it would get really old. we had a really great time. all the counselors are really sweet, and i enjoy working with them. the kids too. they're fun.
they'll ware you out though. i'm really tired. i have to go to practice at 7. it should be alright though.
