today was my first day of classes. i loved it.
my intro to international relations professor is a nice guy, i can already tell i like his teaching methods. he has an accent so he is a little bit hard to understand, but i'll get over it. that class is going to be rad.
geography of race in the us is going to be awesome. discussion this morning, lecture this afternoon. i don't know if i like my professor but we will see as the semester goes on. i already started talking to some people in that class, i ate lunch with one of them and then i ran into amanda h so we ate with her, and then i ran into more people i knew which was awesome.
then i had sociology of sexuality, which will without a doubt be my favorite class this semester. the professor is awesome, the subject matter is fucking fantastic. i'm psyched.
after classes i hung out with noah and tom and nick and kevin and two of noah's friends. we had a good time, obviously.
so i'm actually really happy that school started. it feels like a fresh start for me, which i really need. it's time to let go... for real this time.
and sunday night was a fucking blast... oh my god. it was amazing. i went to hang out with my melissa for a little while, and then i met up with people at my house. there are a few parts i don't remember clearly but for the most part i know that i went crazy and asked every person i met if they would marry me. honestly... sunday and all of the people i spent it with erased all of the sadness from friday and saturday.
