back from arizona
well, i have been back to two days, i have just been way too lazy to update this. but, here i go.
we left tuesday morning. my daddy work me up and then my mom and i went to go pick up bill, avis and alex. alex was running a little late but nothing that would effect anything. we got to the airport in plenty of time to spare. i said goodbye to my mom and we went and checked our bags. alex and i wondered around in the nike store (got a yellow braclet thingie) and then we went and got some chinese. oh damn... it was good. then, onto the terminal where we got a fun little toy thing and som magazines. we got in the plane and i said by the window, alex in the middle and some fat dude on the end. he sounded like he had a hair ball or something becuase the whole ride to salt lake city he was hacking something up. it was way gross and alex and i were sitting as close to the window as possible. he got off at salt lake and a new fat guy sat next to us for the ride to phoenix. when we got off the plane, the heat hit us like a wave of something. haha, i had nothing to put there, sorry. it was just really hot! the air port lost alex's sleeping bag and we were all upset about that. so we went and got our rental car (a hot brand new red durango! in love with that car!) and made our way to flagstaff. the drive was long and ugly and i couldn't help but want to cry when i was seeing what i got myself into. it was ugly and hott and brown and smelled really bad. plus, the cactus everywhere were scary.
we finally made it to flagstaff. it was pretty green but i was in such a sad mood i decided that i hated it.
we checked into our hotel room about 7 and then went to the outback steak house for dinner. alex sent her meet back and thought they would rub the meat under their arm pits. we all laughed about that. but thinking about it, why would someone do that? hmm, like a new cologne. ode to meat. haha, right.
anywho, on the way out there was this amazing jeep that alex and i wanted to take a picture of. why take a picture you say? hm... well becuase it had a sticker of two rhinos humping... thats why. it was amazing, thats all i have to say about that.
the next day we went and checked in at mcconnell hall where the previews were and got out room and t shirts and books and stuff. the rooms were actually really big. about the side of my room at home. but then again, there are two of us living in there so it will be harder.
anywho, we had some breakfast and walked around the booths then we got split up into groups of 8. alex and i weren't together and we were upset by that but it turned out to be a good thing.
in my group i met this boy named Kyle Flajole from washington. we clicked fast because we were both from the north west. basically we talked all day. he is a nice guy. hes funny was enjoyable to talk to. we had lunch, dinner, skits, classes and all that jazz. then there was this dance. alex and i were tired at 9:30 (when it started) but i wanted to hear music so we went. it was outside the dorm rooms. we were sitting on the side just talking and making fun of people when this guy just came up to us and said hi to alex. i had no idea who he was but it turned out to be a guy from her group of people. his name is ryan. he reminds me a lot of ryan baggerly. i think they were like twins seperated at birth. haha. anywho, for the rest of the dance we hung out with him, a girl named erin (also in alex's group, from nor-cal) and a girl named heidi. she wasnt in alex's group and i have no idea where she was from. she just followed ryan around a lot. we think she has a thing for him. anywho, the last few songs of the dance i danced with kyle. he showed me this tango thing. it was way sexy and the fact that he knew how to do that... whew. lol. it was fun. the dance endded at 10:30 and we all went into the loby. alex went to bed and i told her i would be up at 11. opps, kyle and i talked until a little past 12. haha. oh well, it was fun
the next morning i went and sat with alex's group a bit and got some digits. haha. then i went and joined my group for more tests and crap classes. finally, it was time to do our class list thing. mine is nice. no classes friday, dont start on monday and wednesdays until 1:50 and tuesdays and thursdays at 10. i am going to enjoy this. we went back to the main place, got out IDs and said goodbye to our friends. Alex met this really cute boy from her group named Mike. he was way cute and lived in reno. the way that he looked at her made all of us think he might have a thing for her. anywho, we said bye and went to the sky dome. the football team we were walking on the field and i yelled hi and then we started talking with them and meet the hottest one! his name is gundie and he said that he would invite us to paries and stuff. yea, we got the "in" now.
then back to our hotel room so find movie times. we went and saw shrek at the movie theater in town. it was P I to the mother fuckin M P. it was way nice there and i can see myself going there a lot. when walking back to our hotel i took a look around at where i was standing and i finally felt happy. i know i will do well there. i know i will make friends (i already did), i know i will have fun there and i know i make the right choice by going there. i felt totally at peace.
we got back to our hotel room and watched from justin to kelly. wow, that movie sucked a lot. then we walked to pizza hut at like 9:30 to get some dinner. guess who walks in? danny pittenger. how random huh? yea, i looked like trash. haha. we went back and ate and then i decided to text ryan. we texted for a few hours and then alex and i finally went to bed.
we thought we woke up in plent of time the next day, but obviously not, becuase were late and her parents were a bit mad. we drove to sedona where it was beautiful. and it was hot which was a nice change from flagstaff. (it rained and thundered when we were in flagstaff). we ate lunch and then walked around a bit. i got a license plate for chad and alex and i got our picture take in the old style way. you know where you dress up cool? we were bar whores. haha, it was fun and they turned out cool. cep my checks are a little pink but i was soooo fucking hot in there!
we then went back the the hotel room and layed down for awhile and swam in the pool. we went to dinner around 7:30. we went to this outside place and watched the sun go down. it was really romantic. i wish i had been with a cute boy so i could have macked on him. haha, then we went back to the hotel room by 8:30. i didn't feel to good so we just sat around and watched tv. i talked to ryan and alex texted mike. we were so fucking out and couldnt understand why. then after about 3 hours alex saw the thermastat thingie and she turned on cold air. an hour later we were still hot and couldn't understand why so got up and went and looked at it. haha, we didn't turn on the cold air part. finally it started getting hot. a half hour later when we were ready for bed, we were so cold we had to turn it off. got up the next morning and had lunch in town before heading for phoenix. made it to the airport with lots of time again. we went and got alex's sleeping bag they lost. they had sent in to reno which is funny because that is where mike is from. went and got a cactus for my parents and went and waited for the plane. it ended up being really late and due to that i missed most of marcus's game. i felt really bad about that but there isn't much i could do. after the game alex and i went and saw the notebook which is the best movie i have ever seen in my entire life and i want to marry it. haha, ryan goslin is amazing beautiful and i want to see it again ASAP. anywho, sunday i worked in the morning and then i went and got a knew phone charger since i left mine in arizona. then i went to my work party. won 20 bucks then hung out with some work friends after wards. today i slept in, went out to lunch and shopped and now here i am. waiting to go to work so i can get it over with. i hate work. i am ready to be done.
