Calling all volunteer divers willing to put their life on the line to save the planet! Anyone willing to dive down and install a big metal pumpbox around the pipeline spewing oil. You will be working at dangerous levels, and very near dangerous liquids, as well as high pressure situations.
the plan is as follows:
1. Stopcap to hold the box around the pipeline
2. 2 piece pumpbox, to fit around stopcap on the pipe, and pump oil to offshore rig/boats/big old bucket settling tank. box will be fitted with pressure clamps (see submarine doors) to hold it together. we have the world full of engineers, have them make one. I probably could design something that'll work better than the current situation, so, get an actual engineering team on it.
3. Volunteer diving teams to go to depth(yes it could be deadly, but work with nasa, they've got people into space, for the love of god...) and place pumphouse in place, tightening clamps on either side of the assembly.
oil and water in pumphouse to start, then just oil after a little while... BP keeps their oil, pays the volunteers and their families bereavement/hero benefits, the world is saved true hero style
