So, I finally got a first look at the new photography studio that I'm goint to rent with three friends. It's still in very early stages, since the contractor is splitting up a big warehouse into smaller lots to rent out. I think it will be a while before we really start dressing up the place to our liking. I took a few quick snaps so I can announce our Studio Project phase 0.000001 !
You're looking at the studio from the outside in, through the gate. We have 13,5 meters deep by 7,5 meters wide, a 4 meter wide gate and a smaller door. The gate allows big objects to be wheeled in if necessary.
Corridor view:
Notice the original hoist? Gives possibilities for a shooting! The signs next to it our still in "old Dutch" from the 1940ies. We also have natural light through a roof window, Northern side. So no direct sun, but still natural light. Perfect!!
A view from the backside of the studio. Those beams are about 6 meters high. It's obvious this project will take a while to be completed, so I hope we can get to work soon. Lights, electricity, heating, a comfy zone, a make-up zone, ...
Best part is that it's only a 10 minute walk from my home! And rent is very decent too. I think we lucked out on this one to be honest. Suggestions for decoration are always welcome ;-)
