grand canyon village; S. Rim Rim Hike

DAY EIGHT Grand Canyon, South Rim
We got to walk up and down the rim of the grand canyon. It was really spiffy at first, cus there were some great views, and it was raining off and on. But it got annoying real quick because for some reason my eye kept watering and would not stop. Then we got to the village for tourists and shopped and ate gross candy. We had to wait a long time for a shuttle and some girl fainted. I think it was funny, because if you’re too stupid to realize that you’re hot and thirsty, you deserve to faint.
The lady driving the shuttle was the biggest bitch ever. Every three seconds she was yelling at someone for doing something like putting their toe in the aisle or resting your head on the windowsill. We got off and walked back to the village, which was boring because by that time the views are all the same and there’s really no point in looking at them anymore. It started raining and we all watched lightning again and then spent a few hours trying to get to our car which was damned near impossible because my mom had to stop at every gift shop even though every single one had the same shit as every other one.
