it is finished
the honors thesis is done. i did my defense today and i think i did decently well. i graduate this friday at 6:30 pm and i am looking foward to closing this 5 year chapter of my life and beginning a new one. i have decided that psychology is not my gig, and specifically not animal behavior shit. As a result i am not going to New Zealand, nor am i going to be attending school anywhere next year. i am going to take a year off, work a menial job, do a lot of painting, writing and reading (none of which i have been able to do for the past 2 1/2 years...which is sad, i hardly feel like me anymore without such things) and also work on deciding what the hell it is that i want to do with my life. This is my decision and i must say that i am comfortable with it. Now all i have to do is tell the professor that i have been working with for the past couple of years that it has all been for naught. That is not a day that i look foward to.
