Parental randomness
So for any of you who know my father will get a kick out of this, or even if you don't.
On Saturday, I was watching the hockey game (YAY) with my brother, and my step-sister called me to make sure I was coming over for my Sunday visit, which I was, and asked that I come earlier so I could finally introduce her to Buffy. So, I confirmed that I'd be slightly earlier then usual.
Then an hour later my Dad calls me and starts the phone conversation with...And Excalibur. Well I was confused and sounded so, cuz really who starts a conversation like that. Finally clued in to what he was saying. We were also introducing Emily to Excalibur. Which was great.
So what does my dad say, but...you sound strange, what are you having sex or something? *shakes head*
When I got to his place on Sunday, I asked him why he thought I'd be answering my phone if that would be the case. To which my step-mother responded, "that's what I said". To which he didn't really have a response, I just sounded weird. Figures that'd be the first thing he'd think of when I sounded weird. This was met with much laughter.
Good times! lol
Now that supper is done, think I may go for a nice walk and perhaps tackle more violin!
