I know, I know
It's been forever since I've updated, and not because nothings been going on. Rather I believe my brain is finally starting to catch up with what I've been doing.
First off, I'm officially back in school, about halfway through my Intro to Psych class, which I am really enjoying. The courseload isn't that bad, just a lot of new information to process, but something must be sticking, cuz I got 80% on my first exam. The next one being in a week, Yikes.
Second, I will be moving to in with the lovely Faeya in July. Moving back to NDG makes me very happy. I'm excited, its definitely about time, and I get to decorate things the way I want to. I got a new Desk this past weekend, its solid Maple wood, and perfect size for a computer/writing room, for 50$ (technically I paid only 40). It needs a bit of love, but I don't mind.
Thirdly, With all the new stuff going on I had to really think about searching for a new job. However, after talking with my managers, it seems like they will allow me to build a very felxible schedule, what with me in school and no longer living so close. I really didn't want to have to find another 8$/hrs job, as I already have one that's paying me better then that. Especially considering I just got my evaluation.
Speaking of evals, I'm extremely happy to say that I got an above target mark, which means a nicer raise then I had been expecting, Chapters almost never gives these out, I was actually a little floored when I got the remarks. Appearantly they really want me sticking around. *grins*
Okay that's the short list, I've also been to New York, celebrated my grandparents 60th anniversary, and my own 26th birthday. I got a cowboy hat *grins*
More on those in a later post, for now I go try and sleep as I have to get up at 5:30am.
