I got your response, thanks! I'm going to try bare escentuals first, to see how it works for me. Plus, I ordered a kit so they send you all the brushes, LOL I figured this would save me the trouble of getting them myself and possibly buying the wrong one.
The kit with the brushes is such a good deal. I love my brushes, and use them now with Aromaleigh.
Had the makeup not made me itch to death, I probably wouldn't have ever switched to anything else, although I do admit that the Aromaleigh is much better for my budget. After the initial kit is used up, it starts to get a bit expensive to replace the makeup.
There are charts out there, too that can help you decide which Aromaleigh foundation to buy based on what color Bare Escentuals you wear. I found that to be immensely helpful once I decided to switch. It can really help narrow down which samples you buy, or if you are brave like I was, just order the color you think matches the closest and cross your fingers. *grins*
Well, I actually hope to use Aromaleigh in the long run. I'm going to order some of the samples I saw under the Glissad type. It does look like it would be very expensive in the long run, so I will certainly go to the less expensive, and especially if I get the same results.
Oh yes, I've seen those brushes at the store for over $20 each for good ones. I have a small sample at home of the Voile, but since I don't have a good brush, or good lighting I haven't used it. I'm going to get a good vanity mirror this weekend, since the lighting in my bathroom is terrible.
You'll notice that the Aromaleigh foundations aren't as smooth feeling going on as the Bare Escentuals, and that is because of the lack of Bismuth Oxychloride. The bismuth makes the makeup glide on like silk, but it also causes it to settle in fine lines, and for many people, it causes a skin reaction that itches like crazy. Mine only itched when I got hot, but I felt like scratching my face off it was so bad!
So the Aromaleigh doesn't feel as smooth going on, but it looks beautiful.
I had over 40 MAC eyeshadows at one time. I liked to buy them at makeup outlet stores where they are cheap, and I love lip gloss. Especially pink and red lip gloss. I really like it when they have a hint of green and gold sparkles mixed in with the pink or red. I love to experiment with eyeshadow too.

I use the Glissade. I really like the way it feels and covers. My oldest, (Jenna) uses the Voile, and loves it too.

LOL, well I've decided to give both a try. I really don't like the feel anymore of the liquid make-up or the cream stuff.
