Had my first day today,
Started of great because I was told I'd be doing the German section, which is awesome because they told me before I'd most likely do France which would have sucked quite a bit.
Then I got volunteered to do the answer machine messages.
It made me feel kinda important and almost famous..though i called the number to listen to it and it sucks so boo.
But mainly I am now not happy again.
I know it's stupid, but I'm so worried the whole Avignon thing is going to happen, but this time without the slightest time frame of when I could come back.
Of course I live much closer to London, but people don't tend to do much over the weekends and during the week just isn't really doable.
It also turns out that I am by far the youngest (with the exception of the guy i met in essex but h lives in london and doesn't do anything outside of work) which has now destroyed any kind of hopes of meeting people.
I also thought I would join some sports things, but everything is so horribly expensive, and even though it'd probs be a good place to meet new people I cannot stand going to stuff like that on my own! catch 22 :(
