Your doctor is really good. I am quite familiar with Setraline and Mitrazapine as well.

We call Mirtazapine 'Zispin' over here. It's not really mentioned very often over here as it's considered 'atypical' - perhaps why your doctor didn't really think of it first either - but my sister took it a few years ago and really recommends it. I know everyone reacts differently to different things but she has suggested I actually ask the doctor for it. I may do that.

So glad it seems to be having an effect, and I hope things continue to improve! I've been very jumpy recently at noises when out walking, feeling vulnerable if I hear something loud so I understand that feeling.

Over here they mostly call it remeron -- I don't like using brand names so I tend to go with the generic name. But zispin is a very cute and fun name, I like it ;-)
