I crave stronger, meaningful relationships, I just never seem to have the energy or mental space. My world feels greatly internalized.

So the sitting Dalai Lama visited Emory and gave a talk... probably a decade ago, now, and said something like the following.

"You cannot wish no conflict. If you wish no conflict, first you must wish, no people. Not even one person! If one person wish one thing in morning, different thing in evening, is conflict! So if you wish no conflict, you wish no people."
