With my current girlfriend I've fallen out of love with her so many times. We're usually left with what feels like companionate love - experiencing the joy of having each other nearby but not really craving togetherness. I feel calm knowing that she's safe and around, and I'm content with that. Other times we click perfectly. When that happens, I just want to be physically next to her and hear her voice, as if it would quell my soul.
As of late we've been having a lot of "misses." She's usually at work, tired when she gets home, doesn't want to exercise with me, and we've been having emotional bouts. It sucks.
