Interesting read. I relate most to the part about being in love and falling out of it, or experiencing "lovingness" in lieu of being in love.

With my current girlfriend I've fallen out of love with her so many times. We're usually left with what feels like companionate love - experiencing the joy of having each other nearby but not really craving togetherness. I feel calm knowing that she's safe and around, and I'm content with that. Other times we click perfectly. When that happens, I just want to be physically next to her and hear her voice, as if it would quell my soul.

As of late we've been having a lot of "misses." She's usually at work, tired when she gets home, doesn't want to exercise with me, and we've been having emotional bouts. It sucks.

It's very hard to keep a sense of in-love-ness when you don't get focus time *sympathetic frown* I hope you can set aside some time together when you are both free and not tired.
