I got the idea as a combination of the fauxhawk look I wanted and the long angled color that I wanted to keep. I want the sides to be about halfway between what yours is in that photo and what mine is in the last photo, and when it's down I want it to have the same angle & length as the violet in these photos: http://belenen.livejournal.com/440877.html I originally wanted the sides longer (like the length in that fauxhawk photo) but my hair sticks straight out if I do that, so I gotta keep it shorter.
My angles are a bit sharper than yours though and my hair is over all shorter. Did you get the idea from mine or somewhere else?
