Wow, I imagine this one needed huge amounts of mental energy to actually put into words! Substantiating mercurial ideas like these can be quite enough to turn one's brain into mush. (I studied religious theory in college and I'm still surprised to this day that I escaped with any semblance of sanity, lol).

I think the 2nd to last paragraph is the one that struck the most chords with me. I'm one of those people who has a wretchedly difficult time trying to really connect with other people on anything more than a superficial level, and it's not that I have huge barriers up (at least, I don't think I do) or that I'm off on some other planet that keeps me from being able to empathize and relate to others, because nothing could possibly be further from the truth in that regard, but it always seems that at some point I just hit some kind of wall in trying to forge relationships with others (oh hi run-on sentence haha). You described the different systems of people's subconscious and unconscious as being stratified rather than only remotely interconnected pieces randomly floating around inside each of us, and thinking about it in that manner kind of helps me visualize which level is impermeable to different people.

Sorry for jamming this with 938275742 buzzwords, my son kept me up all night wailing because he's getting a tooth and I'm on my 4th cup of earl grey. ;)

yeahhh, it totally did. I had several conversations and days worth of writing before it was done.

I see what you mean about the difficulty connecting. I used to think something was wrong with me until I actually met some people that I had a connection with and it was like "OH, I just hadn't found the right people!"

I'm glad this helped! ;-)
