too tired to really post... but Ben and I were talking about something the other day, we disagreed and it ended by me saying, "Okay, I'll post a poll and see!" So take the poll so we can see who's right. ;-) AND Anika posted a poll I loved, so I'm snitching some of her questions too. you can be honest, nobody can see what you say but me. ;-)

You know, the only reason I'm not always naked the moment the door shuts is because my house is cold. Once the ceramic heater kicks in, clothes start flying. :-P

ah yes, I understand that dilemma. Which is why I am wearing a robe right now -- it's just too fucking cold!

I love physical contact but I'm very uncomfortable giving it if I'm not sure about the other person. I am never touchy feely. But if I was less nervous person I'd LOVE cuddling. I never feel like I get enough contact..
So, I'm not really stingy, just nervous.

That's pretty much me.

Mind if I ask in what way you'd expect them to be different? I'm wondering if guys are expected to be more or less conservative on these things. :-P

I think guys are wayyy less touchy-feely with their friends (I'm thinking guy friends though).

except in prison. :-p

I'd tend to make the same assumption (which is why I asked) but when I asked the same questions in my poll, I was really surprised that as many guys chose the really liberal "yay, let's all cuddle naked" kind of options as girls. Made me happy. :-) Though I do still think that a lot of hetero males would be less willing to be that way with male friends than female friends.

Grrr, allow me to make it known that I did not just hang up on you! My neighborhood is considdered a "low service area" so sometimes my cell reception drops out without warning. I'm still not getting any bars, I'm severely irritated. I'm sorry. :-(

so i wanted to explain one:

Do you like hugs/loving platonic touches (scalp massages, back rubs, etc.)?

I said "Yes, I like giving, but not so much receiving" because... I can get jumpy when people touch me. It's easier if initiate the touching. At that point, it's ok to reciprocate. I dunno.. I guess my boundaries get crossed too much. The longer I know a person, though, I can train myself to not get all "omigod don't touch meeeee", y'know?
