So I haven't been sitting at my own computer very much these days which is a good thing in my head. I picked up a book today and read, something I haven't done since the The End of the Series of Unfortunate Events. I visited a used book store and grabbed The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. I had read it in high school and really remember enjoying it, which I am definitely enjoying it (I'm about 2/3s of the way through already).
I went camping all last week and had a fantastic time doing nothing (you know, besides getting over 100 points on one word in Scrabble and getting 40+ points on one round of Boggle...seriously, I rule :). It was great to spend time with my fake family. They are truly wonderful people that I really need to visit with more often.
My Jennie is home from PA permanently, so I've been spending a good amount of time at her and Alex's house. To those who have not yet played WarioWare for Wii, seriously need to.
I had the pleasure of going to the theatre and seeing Ratatouille yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. I have still yet to see Spiderman 3...but the Simpsons movie comes out this month, so the web slinger is just going to have to wait a while.
I have a part-time job these days in addition to my normal spreadsheet-monkey job. I am doing office work for a friend of the family and it's been nice to have a little bit of spending money (although less time in which to spend it).
Generally life is going okay. I've been reading everyone's blogs, just writing only a little. (I do have my little blogspots, but they are dedicated to random things I find at work and fashion/shopping, not really about what's going on with me.)
