Fat Man: Rides Again and other thoughts
So today had been planned on being interesting from the start. Today we had scheduled to have a few friends over that have kids as I am fairly interested in having the little girl interacting with my friends kids. After a few declines, last minute unavailibles and a few flakes we ended up only having Joel and his daughter out to the house. We spent a good chunk of the afternoon with the girls playing and watching them figuring out how to interact with each other. Earlier in the morning I had bought a pink lacrosse set for Luna which got a little bit of use. The outings ended after we went to Izzy's and then came home for a nap.
The evenings ride:
I think that it has been a week or so since I have ridden and it was a good time. I made this time a little bit longer though I got home in about the same amount of time as my last trip. I went out to the lakes as I have been doing the last few times but this time when I was going to get back on to the trail I headed further out west to where the Penny's would be getting on the Greenway to hit the lakes. I wasn't sure where the trial was in relation to them and now I know. The Sam's club over there moved and is very different from when I was last there. Also there was a hole that was fenced off. I thought for a second that it was our own Albert's Abyss. I made a note to stop to see when Critical Mass happens. Strangely I think I passed a friend from high school who participates in CM on the path when I was making my way home. I am going to have to shoot him a message after this post. I think I am going to be ready for the trailer when it arrives in the middle of this week.
Was supposed to go to T's with Dave but I am betting he passed out. Such is life on 3rd shift. If anyone else wants to go to T's call me before midnight.
Now I am sore and the little girl is tired and whiney.(Note: Much respect to Max and Janel's wine rack.)
