The storm rages,
Without, within.
Lightning sends electrons free.
Here we stand, still bound.
Destruction's patterns the hand repairs,
Not the glasswork soul, cracked and soon undone.
Promises pulse deceptive energy,
Potential uncontained.
Rain can dry, wind sheltered.
Yet words light a fuse, igniting hope.
Watch neglected, warnings ignored,
Dawn brings no reprieve.
Shadow shrouds all color;
The prism fails, unseen.
