Second Chance Idol now open
For any on my list who are interested in LJ Idol, sign-ups are now open for "Second Chance Idol" (click here).
"Idol" is a writing contest with elements of TV reality-contests "American/Pop Idol" and "Survivor" with weekly writing prompts leading to polls for voting to keep contestants in the game. There are also some other twists along the way. FAQ is here. Additional Second-Chance Idol answers here.
Some contestants in SCI will join the regular contestants now in "Season 8" (including me, if I'm still around). This was how I got into Season 7 last year.
The whole thing is fun and no matter how long you compete you "win" with good writing experience and a swelled-up friends list.
