Run (away?)
Saw yet another news report this morning on the governor of the state wherein I reside -- Indiana's Mitch Daniels -- telling the national media, again, that he's not running for president in 2012 in an obvious build-up to his running for president in 2012.
As the inevitability closes in, I've been thinking on and planning writing an overview of this guy from a Hoosier perspective (I still think of myself as an Arkie in exile, but have been in corn country for nearly a decade now), but that's for later.
For now I'll note that IF Daniels wins election that will make two governors from states I've lived in elected president of the U.S.
So if you want your governor to be in the White House some day, perhaps you should arrange for me to move to your state. =)
