Great literature

Oct 22, 2009 09:29

I found this interesting and a bit inspiring (or more to the point, confirming what I already suspected): The Internet has created a generation of great writers.

As proof, I submit over 200 samples, all linked here at LJ Idol, and while you're at it vote for the ones you like. There's a lot of good stuff there, but I must note that this from new friend misalady knocked my socks off (good thing I don't like wearing socks).

Now go vote!

Fineprint: Voting open to all with LJ accounts, please use only one account per person, vote for as many as you like, polls close Monday, see instructions on the voting post and the LJI FAQ for details. Beldar has no entry or personal stake in the contest or its outcome and is merely encouraging others to participate. Billy Joel is a registered trademark, man, that guy's got an ego, doesn't he? But I love his songs. What does a real estate novelist write anyway? And who would want to read it? Ask your doctor if Placebo is right for you. He'll probably just look at you funny. Does anyone actually read these things?
