My birthday on Thursday was really bipolar. I took the morning off from classes and took a really long shower, and took like an hour getting pretty. I was feeling super about life. Then I went and studied at Maestros with Lydia and Lauren, which was fun. I got a 10/10 on my Marriage of Figaro test, then in the break before movement class Lydia and I practiced our dance and did a great job in movement. So up until 3:30, my birthday was great. Then I had to do an improv scene in acting class where I was supposed to have just spilled everything in my purse on the ground and a cute guy I pine over every day from afar is supposed to walk by. I didn't understand how I was supposed to make a scene out of that. The teacher just gave up on me instead of helping me figure it out and then I started to cry. I left the room to try to pull myself together but it didnt work. During the break the teacher pulled me aside to talk to me and I told her that that was the worst possible scene she could have given me because if I knew how to start a conversation with guys I thought were cute I would probably have a boyfriend. I tried to continue with class but I really just could not stop crying so I went home. I put on Durufle's Requiem and talked to Ryan online to cheer me up, because those are two things I know I can count on when I'm unhappy. It worked too, then I went to church choir. It was kind of a blah rehearsal. I messed up multiple times and things just didn't seem on. Then Andrew and Sheena and I went to O'Sheas and we ran into Julian on the way and he joined us and we had dinner before everyone else showed up with the cake. Sarah, Jess, Lydia, Bill, and Lauren made me really cute cards that they definitely put a lot of work into (and I now have them on my wall). Roger, Greg, Joe, and Linda were there too. The musicians sang Happy Birthday to me and bought me some drinks. It was really a fun night. So my 22nd birthday started out great and ended great and like 4 hours in the middle where absolutely awful.

Yesterday my parents came at like 12:30 and they broght me some random stuff, like my fondue pot and dresses, and for my birthday my dad gave me a bottle of rum and my mom gave me a framed map of Florence and of the NYC subways(i'm not sure why). The Florence map is really cool. Then we went down to the Harbor. It was like 1:30 by this time and I was starving. The plan was to eat at Phillips but there was a long wait so we ended up going to Phillips Express, which was really not very good. Then we went on the USS Constellation and to the observation deck of the World Trade Center, both of which were free for Free Fall Baltimore. It was pretty fun. They came back to my apartment for a little bit and then went to Aunt Nancy's. The Rangers played the Capitals at 7:00 so I got to watch it! And I dug out my winter clothes since it's getting cold so I got to wear my jersey while I watched the Rangers WIN. :) It was good times. Right at the end of the game Bill came over since he didn't have anything to do and we watched Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy and hung out for a while.

Now I'm on Fall Break and mostly I wastd a lot of time so far today. Hopefully I will eventually get stuff done this weekend.
