To steal a line from the Postal Service: "I take a breath and Hold the air until there's nothing left... from here you can't see me stare, The stale taste of recycled air".. I love flying :) A sample of the evidence of my trip:

The flights there were awesome and it was so good to see my friend again. The weekend was pretty laid back which was really nice. A little swimming, good food, some Twilight Zone epps and a mini Office marathon (I hadn't seen any of season 3, so that was awesome!). She got another tattoo that is absolutely perfect for her and she helped me confirm what I had decided I wanted as my next mark :) I also got to do some serious bonding. Not just with my friend, but with her mom too. It was really nice. The flights back were a bit more taxing. What was supposed to be about an hour layover turned into a four hour layover. I was so happy to be going home, but it was so far away. The neat thing was the by the time we were about to actually get on our flight everyone was deliriously tired, so we were all laughing and joking and having a great time. I made some new friends :) And I finally made it home!
I got to see my beau again... I did not think 5 days would feel that long but damn. We went home, had a little to eat and passed the fuck out. Another thing I was not expecting: my kitten was absolutely starved for attention lol. He missed us tons and bunches and would not let us sleep in peace at all....
This morning we got up, had some coffee and he went off to work. I had about an hour before I had to be up for work, but because of my exhaustion I was scared I might not hear my alarm again. So I was productive! I swear, when I'm not home, the house comes to a bit of a standstill... I did the dishes, took out the trash, cleaned the kitchen and living room, completely unpacked, cleaned up my room, made my bed and took a shower (all after draining a pot of coffee lol) before heading off to work. I'm pretty proud of myself: it would seem life has returned to normal... for the most part :)
I also got a call while I was in PA. Turns out my best guy friend in MD managed to pull some strings and he and his gal will be out here for a few days the beginning of next week. Sadly, I will not be able to take any extra time off. But I'll get to see them in the evenings and they can go off and explore Austin while I'm at work. This will probably be pretty tiring, but it should certainly be fun... I hope lol.
In other news: tonight at midnight I get to see the new Harry Potter. I AM SOOOO EXCITED! I have been looking forward to this for months and I have had my tickets for several weeks now. And 10 days after that is book 7! Excuse me while I geek out :)
In any case, it is so good to be home again....
