in a san antonio state of mind....

so yesterday was my one year anniversary with the love of my life. i really thought one of us would have killed the other by now... who knew? lol

he got home at about 12:30 thursday morning and we just sat up and talked. decided to go for a ride and rode around all night. stopped at an ihop at about 3:45am and ended up going home and to bed around 5:45. it was so much fun.
got up at a little after noon (so much for an early start, huh? lol) and got ourselves together and hit the road. drove down to san antonio and got so horribly lost! it seems when he and i make a day trip of something this is what happens lol. got a parking spot in a little garage in downtown about 4pm and started wandering. it was beautiful. we took this little boat around the san antonio river, walked through this huge 4 story mall with walls of glass overlooking the river and walked around all the shops and buildings and restaurants. it was sooooo amazing. i'm in love with that city. i mean i'll always be a marylander but this place was amazing. i told my beau we're gonna have to drive back out there at least once a month or i'll cry. the place was beautiful and the culture was amazing and if i could move us there without 2 hour long commutes to work we'd be packing right now. i cannot wait to go back...
we ended the night with dinner at the rainforest cafe. first time either of us had been there and it will not be our last. the environment was outstanding and the food was sooooooooooooooo good. i wanted to keep eating until i burst. we brought home boxes of it. that along with our little items from shopping (including amber, my newest fairie friend) and we staggered up the stairs to the apartment at about 12 am. it was the best way to spend an anniversary ever! this weekend we're going out and getting tattoos and lounging about the house watching movies (hopefully crash to make this woman shut up *love you momma*).

until next time!!!!

anniversary, love, happy, tattoo, up all night, san antonio, chaz
