(no subject)
ok, so many new songs to learn, so little time. i love les miserables. have for quite some time. know almost all the songs, most of them word for word, front and back. but about 48 hours ago i saw the film version of phantom of the opera. oh... my... god... breathtaking. i now have a new soundtrack to master and so help me it will be done by the end of the month! if only i could set my mind to other things so strictly... like, oh say.. packing. ugh. still so much to pack.
i worked last night and had a 30 minute overlap with her. i had taken out my earring (we both wore the same earring in the bottom hole of our right ears, a sort of friendship earring. her having one, i the other). i think that was a really big blow. ever seen pain in someone's eyes? that's what her's looked like. pain. the thing that kills me is i don't feel really bad about it. i've never hurt someone and not tried to fix it. i didn't hurt her intentionally at the start and i'm not going out of my way to hurt her now; i just don't care. i can't let her have that part of me. it was wonderful while we had it and i'm very grateful that her and her family were in my life. i'd love to be her friend again, but i can't do it all by myself. i can't forget if she won't. i didn't hurt her on purpose. that's the only thing she doesn't get. i'm sorry she got hurt at all, but it was her choice to take it that way. hers and hers alone...
so now i sit here a little after 1pm with 4 candles and a cauldron burning behind me. today's the day. it will either end or begin this afternoon. let it end! just let it be done and over with. please light a candle and whisper a prayer for those i love (i could use one too, but this is much bigger). if all goes as i pray it will then when i get off work tonight i will drive another hour and a half to get him and bring him home with me. oh i pray i get to see him tonight. sometimes you just need a comfort object. i know i need mine and seeing all that he has going on right now i'm pretty sure he needs one as well. hope he has the Coolest Pig in the World with him today.. :)
so i guess that's about it. i really aught to go back to my room and do some packing. i'm gonna put in a date at work soon. June 30th. that's it. might be before then, but not later. we're gonna do this by June 30th. oi vey...
