A touch of girliness
I know, I forget I'm a girl sometimes too.
In fact, most people I know overlook it cause I always hang with boys. The first time I recall a guy friend really "acknowledging" I was a girl was in early June when he was talking about a strip club and looked at me and said, very sincerely, that he was sorry if he offended me talking about boobs lol. It's easy to be the "girl" in a relationship... when I'm not dating gay men... but the vast majority of my friends are guys, so that's the air I can present. But I digress.
I need a pair of dress shoes, so I'm planning a girly trip with a friend in the not too distant future to acquire some. She is excited lol
I'm also going downtown again this weekend (lord willing). And I'll be donning a red dress just for the fuck of it. I want to feel pretty. And I plan on it :)
Lastly, I got another one of my girly pleasures - the new Regina Spektor CD. She makes me muy happy. I think this may well be her best CD yet.
On a not-so-girly note, a friend will be here in a couple of days to hang out for about 2 weeks. I have to work several of the days he's here, but I did get some time off and it should be fun. Gotta do a lot of cleaning though. That's girly, right?
