Time to do this all again
Well, things here are good as can be expected I suppose. The sofa drama is all but complete (for those not in the loop I ordered a sofa on 2/7 and, through a series of unfortunate events, it still hasn't shipped and I've been making payments on it - the worst part was their customer service though - gag me), I'm expecting a full refund and cancellation of the order and a friend has been generous enough to offer me a nice loveseat (and possibly a matching chair and footstool) for my apartment. That's right folks - I might be a real grown up soon!
This week has been hectic - did some overtime Sunday (as I am wont to do) and Monday was just insane! I got up bright and early and took a friend home, went to the drs, got the grocery shopping for the week done and had my car at the mechanics all by 11am. Then there was the sitting. I sat there till about 1:30 at which point my friends were off work and kind enough to come fetch me from a certain decent into madness. Then we went everywhere! Did a little wandering, rode along with them while they picked up people from work and took them to the store. It was nice to hang out with them all day. At about 6 we went back to the shop. My car passed inspection, they fixed the rattle, changed the wiper blades and even did the oil change, all for less than $350. While this is still a pretty penny, I had saved up $1,000 for it so I feel that I got out of there for pretty cheap lol.
Monday night I went down to 6th Street and dropped off my tatt idea and the deposit. All is lined up for the inking on 5/1. I'm soooooo terrified, but I really think I'm gonna try to knock it all out in one sitting. I really think I can do it and my artist said she's up for it if I am, so here's hoping (pray for me haha).
Overall the week has gone fairly well for me thus far, but we get our new schedules this weekend. Due to the way the week rotates here and the days I'll be switching to, this makes for a long work week. I work 10:30-7:30 yesterday, today, Thursday and Friday. Saturday I switch to a 4x10 which will be 8-7 Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It'll be next Tuesday before I have a day off again. *sigh* But then I will have 3 days off... only thing is I've been working 6 days a week for months cause I can't figure out what to do with myself when I have two whole days off so what the fuck I'll do with three is beyond me lol.
In closing I just have to put this out there:
I have a secret. A very happy, happy secret :)
I won't be saying any more on it just yet. Ask all you like - I know the suspense will kill you all a little, but I won't be saying any more on the matter at this time.... :D
