The only entry of it's kind in 7 years...
I figure the journal is just over three years old, and the next February 29th won't be until 2012, so I really ought to post something, you know? And yet there's so little to post about heh...
Work is going ok, though I feel like I'm walking on thin ice given a few issues that have arisen over the last week. I think I'm doing a great job with my professionalism, but I've never been so good with the whole "being chastised by someone who is wrong" thing. But anyway.
Home stuff is ok. Seems it's been busy this week even though it really hasn't. Monday was hanging out with friends (and crashing the new Torrid). Tuesday and Wednesday were fun enough - dinner with two friends, one on each night and last night I got to see Spike & Mike! I thought I had missed the chance, but there was an encore *happy dance*. It was every bet as fucking disturbing as I recall, but this makes three Februaries in Austin and three Spike & Mikes seen :) And it was at the Alamo which is always a blast. And I found a beer (that's right, a beer) that I actually like. Who knew? After that I took a few friends to the best place on 6th Street - Pete's Piano Bar. I showed them something :) And they were so freaked out that I knew the words to You Never Even Call Me By My Name. I guess I just thought everyone knew she got runned over by a damned old train....
Today I'm just kinda here. Doing a little OT today. And possibly tomorrow. And probably Sunday. I need hobbies.
