(no subject)
It's December folks. Jeeze.
I'm a little more than halfway through with my Christmas shopping. While I'm proud of it at this time, I'm usually done by November. I have no idea where this year has gone.
Saturday I spent helping my roomie paint my old apartment. It was a very interesting experience... and I still have a little paint on me lol
Sunday was my beau's 29th birthday. He had to work a 10 hour day which, while it certainly sucked for him, gave me a chance to do the Christmas shopping I had been so horribly putting off. I spent the afternoon with a friend shopping and catching up - then, when my beau got off work, we headed to Katz's for dinner with my roomie and her beau. It was a lot of fun.
Monday I woke up with a horrible snotty, cough, complete with kathleen-turner voice. It's a little better today, but not by much (cough drops and nyquil are my best friends lol). My beau wanted me to go to a movie with him and a few of his coworkers. The company was good, but the movie (No Country For Old Men) was, ummm, well it was something lol. And that's really all I can say about that.
Today has been a lazy day. A little TV, lots of mint tea and some cards with my beau. Tomorrow he goes back to work, but I'm still off till Thursday - which will be 6 months. Maybe I'll spend tomorrow sleeping in hopes of feeling better by the time I get to go back to work. Hell of a way to spend a vacation, huh?
