Hooray October!
I'm pretty sucky at this updating thing anymore... sheesh.
As of late not much is too new. The boy and I are doing pretty good with the new schedules and the rides to and from work, but it is taxing and very, very tiring. Sunday I ended up sleeping more of the day then I was awake. I hate doing that, but my god I needed it.
Saturday was a friend's wedding. It was interesting to say the least. By then end of it I was feeling incredibly antisocial. We (my boyfriend and I) then had three options: go to the reception, go to a friends birthday party, or completely fuck off and spend the evening together. I was all for option #3. But he was gonna play WoW if we opted not to go out. And I couldn't justify missing the reception and a friend's birthday just to sit on the sofa next to him while he played a computer game. And he was only gonna play if we didn't go. Wonderful little conundrum we were in, eh?
So.... he took me out to dinner. A nice dinner no less. And we spent the better part of two hours in the restaurant talking and eating. Then we went home and we spent the evening in bed and watching tv. It was so nice. And it was just the two of us all night - no other people, no games. I could not have asked for a better Saturday night. One of the many reasons I am hopelessly in love with him.
Sunday, as I said, was spent sleeping :)
Yesterday the beau and I went out for a bit and goofed off in our local book store and game stop. Then we had some lunch and I went to get my hair done (it's black with red chunks.. that's right folks - she finally paid to have someone do it right!) while he went to a house meeting. Then last night he and I, along with my roomie and her beau, went to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D.. honestly it was a blast, but the most 3D thing happened before the movie started lol. I love that I can do stupid shit like that with my beau :)
And the weather! Oh my god! It's dropped to the mid/low 70s and there is a breeze unlike anything I can remember around here in ages! I was chilly this morning getting out of my warm bed. It was fucking wonderful! It's about bloody time, October! I can stop wearing tank tops!!!!
