General "end-of-school-year" randomness / holiday plans :)

Summer holidays start today, so I've got 6 weeks of no school ahead of me. (My last summer holidays btw, for I will graduate next year, hopefully;) )
The last week was sort of a waste of time since there was no class and we only did "end-of-the-school-year-stuff" like our summer festival and the yearly class projects, but since we're K12 we were responsible for the food which was why we were busy with the barbecue and doing the dishes etc. And since we're not in real classes anymore, nobody seemed to care whether we were at school at all participating in the projects, so we didn't do much but cleaning up after all the celebrations (there was a good-bye festivity for our retiring head-master too) and planning working teams for next year since there's going to be a lot of stuff to organize (graduation ball, grad prank, yearbook, class trip etc )
But in the end it was sort of fun, even after the discouraging job/university information yesterday where people kept telling us how we must not wobble around without an aim after graduation because this would end in HORRIBLE MENTAL AND ECONOMIC DAMAGE!!!! oO
Today, before we got our reports, we had another "good-bye" for our deputy headmaster who has been at our school for 40 years, which was really fun and beautiful and moving and all sorts of good. There was a chessboard prepared on the floor of the assembly hall with black/white-dressed students and teachers as the alive chess(wo)men (like in Harry Potter! XD) and Mr. E had to play against on of our students via microphone. Of course he won and got mega-applause and then the entire school sang a song for him. He seemed really touched and I was too and it was one of those big emotional things.

So now I've got six weeks of leisure time ahead of me and plan on doing the following to avoid boredom:
> go on a trip to Istanbul with my mother
> visit my friend in Memmingen for some days
> do lots of daily trips with my mother/my friends depending on who's willing and there
> try to start writing my Greek assignment about Alexander (which now has Curtius Rufus in it, btw. Omg, I dread Latin)
> try to start writing the other Greek assignment about Lukian's symposion which I have to do for this Greek contest that I passed the first round of (translation and stuff)
> applying for volunteering programms/ internships for my post-graduation year that I hope to spend abroad :)

If anyone's got other brilliant ideas of how I can spend my time, LET ME KNOW (mostly because the latter three are more obligations forced upon me than something I really want to do, lol)

holidays, school, good-bye parties, atg, end of school-year, greek, holiday plans
