My icon awesomemess
I suppose most people aren't that interested in my icons (seeing as they're not so many either), but I thought I'd use the opportunity to give some signs of live here. ;-) I'm also, like most people, a big fan of memes, so here we go.

This is sort of my standard-icon everywhere. I've started using it ages ago in a German LotR community. I can't remember why I chose it in the first place. other than because it's pretty. I like it because it seems to fit everywhere, as it hasn't got a certain statement, but yet does create a nice atmosphere.

cokeandmint It's obviously one of my Harry Potter icons and I like it because of its simplicity. The series are finished but they're probably always going to be important to me, seeing how they were part of my childhood and youth. I also love the glasses, because it's just so Harry XD
Alexander of course. This one can't be missing. It's Alexander the Great out of the Alexander mosaic, which shows the Battle of Issos. I acutally don't think it's the best portrait of Alexander's looks, but the mosaic is quite impressive and I find it rather fascinating. Also, most people are going to recognize it, as it's pretty famous. It says "Alex" because that's how I shorten his name when I talk about him with my friends, who probably don't want to know about it anyway.
Well, this is my cat Pauline. I have this load of pictures of my pet on my PC and thought, why not make an icon out of one? After all, she's really cute, isn't she? XD And I need to show my love for animals somehow.

For RL, nothing really exciting is happening to me.
I've written my horrifying Herodotus exam yesterday, where I made incredibly stupid careless mistakes. I think I can forget my 1 (A for you other people) now. Next week we're going to have our oral Spanish exam and I don't know how I feel about it. Also we'll write the English exam on my birthday and I need to write an Interpretation of a Goethe poem, which I'm not looking forward to at all.
I'm hoping to get some private life back soon, as my life seems to center around school. Oh well, I hope it's summer soon, when I can to things like go to the lake with my friends all day or have campfires on the river.
ETA: I hate LJ. It took me ages to post this, because it would always mess up stuff.
