I LOVE Maleficent. She was my favorite Disney character when I was younger - Sleeping Beauty was the first Disney film that I saw in the theater and I loved her because she wore black and purple, my eternal favorite colors.
There is some really hot fanfic on AO3 that features Maleficent/Aurora. :)

And yeah, Maleficent is way up there in my favourite Disney character, she only looses it for Ursula and ties with Jafar.
