[Action Post] Surprise Present from an Unexpected Source
Opening the door and kicking off her shoes, Ali made sure to be at least a little quiet when she walked in. Unlike most mornings when she came in she'd not been clubbing, rather she'd been working. Not nearly as fun but, a little spending money was always wanted. Yawning she stretched before kicking the door closed behind her and (not finding anything worth eating in kitchen) headed her her bedroom.
Slipping into her pajamas she sat on the bed to make herself comfortable when she felt something hit the side of her and started in surprise, reaching back to pick up a....bottle. Confused she tilted her head to get a look at it and then turned the note so that she could read it.
It was from Willem....
Ali blinked a few times...then paused and blinked some more. And then she found herself smiling, not her usual smirk or her 'i won' grin, but rather a small gentle one, a real one.
Maybe her brother wasn't so annoying after all.
